Solid wood panels
A solid wood panel is an all-wood board made by edge-gluing solid wood lamellas. Nativu supplies oak, walnut, chestnut, ash, beech and iroko solid wood panels, typically 18 mm and 30 mm thick.
What is a solid wood panel?
A solid wood panel (edge-glued panel) is a wide board made by gluing solid wood lamellas along their edges. Unlike veneered MDF, it is wood through its whole section: it can be sanded and refinished, and its edges need no separate facing.
Oak solid wood panels
Oak panels, with their hardness, durability and pronounced grain, are the most popular choice for table tops, worktops, stair treads, shelves and furniture.
Walnut solid wood panels
Walnut panels, with their dark brown tone and lively grain, are used for high-end furniture, dining tables, coffee tables and decorative work. Light and dark tones can appear in the same panel; that colour variation is part of walnut's natural look. An oil or lacquer finish brings the grain out further.

Chestnut solid wood panels
Chestnut panels are made from Turkish chestnut. The surface ranges from light to mid brown with a pronounced grain, close to oak in appearance. They are used for table tops, shelves, stairs and interior furniture, and suit projects that want an oak-like look in a different species.

Ash solid wood panels
Ash panels have a light tone, from cream to light brown, with a pronounced straight grain. Ash is a strong and flexible species, used for table tops, chairs and furniture, stairs and interior work. It suits projects that want a light surface with a clear grain.

Beech solid wood panels
Beech panels, with their light, even tone and good workability, are chosen for furniture, children's furniture and interior joinery.
Iroko solid wood panels
Iroko is a moisture-resistant tropical species, so iroko panels are used in bathrooms, kitchen worktops and semi-outdoor areas.
