Veneer
American walnut veneer
American walnut veneer, with its dark and even brown tone, is one of the most popular natural wood veneers for interiors. We supply it quarter-cut and coloured.
Cut and colour

Characteristics
American walnut (black walnut) grows in North America and is darker and more even in colour than European walnut. Its tones, from chocolate brown to deep purple-brown, give veneered surfaces a calm, premium look.
- Quarter cut: a straight, parallel grain that forms a regular pattern across large surfaces.
- Coloured: veneer that carries the dark heartwood colour, with little light sapwood.
Where is it used?
- High-end furniture, bedroom and dining sets
- Doors and wall panelling
- Office furniture and boardroom tables
- Hotel, retail and yacht interiors
The veneer is pressed onto MDF or particleboard; oil and lacquer deepen its colour.
Matching products
For edges we supply matching real wood edge banding in American walnut (crown and quarter cut), and thick veneer (papel) for a thicker face. For the livelier grain of European walnut see Turkish walnut veneer.
