Engineered Veneer
Veneer made from real wood through a controlled process. The same color and the same grain on every leaf: you pick a pattern by its code and reorder it by the same code.
What is engineered veneer?
Engineered veneer (also called reconstituted or recon veneer) is made from real wood. Veneer leaves peeled from the log are dyed, stacked to a designed pattern and pressed into a block. When that block is sliced again, every leaf carries the same pattern.
In short, what is engineered is the pattern, not the material: the figure is designed, the material is wood.
How it differs from natural veneer
Natural veneer carries the tree's own figure, so even two leaves from the same log differ. Engineered veneer has a set pattern that repeats on every leaf. That keeps color and grain consistent across large surfaces and across projects delivered in several batches.
How to order
Give the pattern code and the quantity you need in the quote form. Not sure which pattern fits? Call us and we will choose it with you. We share prices and stock by phone.
Why engineered veneer
Every leaf the same.
Natural veneer is beautiful because every leaf differs. Engineered veneer is useful because it repeats. Your project keeps one surface from start to finish.
- 01
Same color, same grain
The pattern is set in advance. Color and grain stay the same from the first leaf to the last.
- 02
Pick by code, reorder by code
Every pattern has a code. Months later you can ask for the same code and carry on with the same surface.
- 03
Consistent on large surfaces
On hotels, offices and retail fit-outs the panels match each other. No more leaf-by-leaf matching.
- 04
Real wood
The pattern is engineered, the material is wood. The veneer leaves are peeled from real logs.
